Affidavit of translation from the Welsh language filed
This is the last Will and Testament of Mr. Griffith Davies Gelli Green Parish of Llandecwy (sic) County of Merioneth. I Griffith Davies desire to give everything in the shape of possessions and animals and the stock belonging to the farm inside and outside of the house to my Wife Sarah Davies after my departure. Also to the said Sarah Davies I do give in money the sum of two hundred pounds in addition to the above. Also I do desire to give to Margaret Ellis my daughter the sum of one hundred pounds. Also to my daughter Ellen Evans the sum of eighty ponds. Also to my daughter Laura Jones the sum of two hundred pounds. Also I do give to the three orphan Children of my Son in law Thomas Jones the sum of twenty pounds each namely Sixty pounds between them. Also to my granddaughter Mary Davies Gelli Green the sum of twenty pounds. Also to my grandson Griffith Jones Felinrhyd fawr the sum of Twenty pounds. Be it observed that half of the sheep are to go to my son Griffith Davies Felinrhyd fawr as he has paid for them. And I do desire the said Griffith Davies my son to be Executor to this my last Will and to see that his mother has liberty to enjoy the property and to use it in the wisest way and I do desire that the above money to remain while my Wife Sarah Davies is alive and that she is to receive the interest from all the above sums while she lives. In testimony of this I have underneath set my hand the sixteenth of October in the year One thousand and eight hundred and ninety one.

Proved: St. Asaph 30th November 1891 by the oath of Griffith Davies (son & executor) to whom administration was granted.
The Testator died the 2nd November 1891 at Gelli Green.
