1. Bedyddiwyd ym Meddgelert 6.6.1779. Margaret Daughter of Richard Jones Ffridd and Maragret(sic) his wife ( not Catherine!) ( +)
2. Priodas ym Meddgelert David Wiliamso Llanddwywe (ger Dyffryn Ardudwy) â Margaret Richards 27.1.1809. She was 30 years old and he was 24 ( +)
3. Bob Owen Croesor- Llyfr y Plwyf Beddgelert? Llanfrothen? David Williams from Llanddwywe & Margaret dau. of Richard Jones Ffridd Beddgelert (probably)
4. Llyfr y Plwyf - Birth of Griffith ? to David Williams & Margaret Richards 7.1.1816 (+)

6. Her son Griffith Davies( aka Williams) married Sarah Jones B.Cyf. from Tanygrisiau, in 1841 ( + )
7. Griffith Davies and Sarah were at Tanygrisiau in 1851 ( + )
8. Death of Margaret (P)Richards 1837 to 1860 ???? (*) Search St Catherine’s Indices/ Registerar Olwen Jones at Bl. Ff.
9. Burial of M(P)Richards Williams a) Beddgelert; b) Llanfrothen c) Bl. Ffestiniog (2) d) Llan Ff. ( X ) We would have expected M(P)R-W to be buried with her husband David Williams (1785- 30.3.1821) at Llanfrothen. (D 026) It is surprising that the sons & dau. did not record her although four other persons were interred in the same grave, the last , W.D, in 1893/5. It is unlikely that MPR-W outlived them. Was there no space in the plot for her or did they not record her death. Another look at the church or cemetery records might reveal some anomaly. Incidentally, it appears that the M.I.dates and age (1895 & 89yrs) of W.D. is wrong here.

As well as Llanfrothen I have trawled Bethesda, & St David’s Bl Ffest also St Michael’s Llan Ffestiniog I looked at about 75 possible MW (P) Pr, but found no apparent matches

A trawl revealed a number of DW and MW (P)r –W , non of which were of apparent significance.
There were however a number of references to Ffridd, Ff. uchaf; Ff.bella as follows:-
A173 Richards Jones of Frith Oct 1781(59) also Catherine his wife 12.2.1794(66) also William Pritchard( late of Ffridd) son of R.J. 28.8.1816 (39). Also Martha wife of John Roberts of Bryn melyn 2.7.1841(29)
A174 John Pritchard of Ffridd 20.2.1830 (67). Also his wife 21.2.1850 (aged 83)
A277 Alice wife of Evan Owen Ffridd isaf 20.11.1856(55) ;Evan Owen 27.121866 (80)- any conection??
